The star review

I thought the story was very confusing. It did remind me of an aztec story the way he was describing everything. Ya know, talking about the ancient ruins and the lovely writing. I wish I could've understood him a little more at the beginning. The ending got clearer but the beginning I was like huh????

What I think so far

I think this book is pretty good so far. This is whats going down so far. Theres this character named Ransom (pretty suspicious huh?) Well, he is looking for a place to stay and he comes across this woman who thinks that Ransom is her son. Eventually, Ransom agrees to go find him. When he reaches the place where he is told he might be at, he hears a boy saying "let me go, let me go." He is found by some old "friends" of his that he went to school with. They end up eating and drinking and talking the whole night so far.
